Trading Terms for Lichfield Guild Hall

Selling Time 10 am till 3pm

Set up from 9.am 

 

You will be able to set up/ get in from the front of the building at 9.00 am you must park your car in whichever car park you choose as soon as you have empty the car, (traffic wardens start at 7.30am in Lichfield). You will be required to get out from the rear, the arrangement for get out works well as long as you adhere to the traffic light system that will be explained to you on the day. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MOVE ANY TROLLEYS OR STOCK AROUND UNTIL ALL CUSTOMERS HAVE LEFT THE BUILDING 

 

Please don’t come any earlier than 9.00am as I only have a short time to set the tables out and label them. Your name or your business name will be on the table.

Please don’t change the layout.

 

Please try and present yourself and your table in a professional manner if you want people to buy your stock (its not Harrods neither is it a jumble sale).. A long table cloth is a minimum requirement to hide your stock as well as look good. If you are going to use any over head displays please make sure that they are secured and will not fall on to your customers,  please also make sure they don’t hinder your neighbour moving in and out of their stand.

 

Please note that you are exhibiting in a Grade II listed building. We are obliged to look after it so no hangings on the walls, no naked flames.

 

The light is good at the Guild Hall but to enhance your product fairy lights or any battery powered lighting will help. We do have some electrical points in the room. if you require access, your need to make us aware.

 

Spaces are allocated to a structured floor plan therefore we cannot guarantee you will be in the same spot if you have traded with us before.

 

Any special requirements must be made by email.

 

You must have a relevant hygiene certificate if you plan to sell food stuffs. 

If you plan to sell handmade cosmetics, soaps or body products you must have the appropriate safety assessments.

 

The fair organisers do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to any property brought to the event or personal injury whilst at the event. It is the responsibility of the stallholders to take out their own insurance for the event.

 

The booking form must be completed and fees must be paid in advance. We will not be able to take part payments or deposits.

 

Confirmation of your booking will be confirmed on receipt of payment. 

Your booking will be only be confirmed once your payment has been received in full with your completed booking form and when I have confirmed receipt of both. 

Our bank details will be given to you when you have returned the booking form, we have had a couple of attempts to fraudulently gain access to the bank account so we are only issuing it to trusted sources.

 

All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE – The only instance in which a refund will be issued is 

if the event is cancelled by WOW Events. 

Illness, change of plan etc... will NOT qualify for a refund - sorry
